Bettersize Instruments Acclaimed in 5th Zhengzhou International A&G EXPO

The biennial China (Zhengzhou) International Abrasive and Grinding Exhibition was held in Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center from 13th to 15th August, 2019. In this exhibition, General Manager Qingyun Dong together with Deputy General Manager Zhonglan Liu led Bettersize group and the latest particle size analysis instrument and technologies was highly recognized by experts and companies in abrasive industry.

Particle size and particle shape are the essential indicators for the performance of abrasives. There are various abrasives of different functions. China is the major producer and exporter of abrasives and grinding products, while the demands for abrasives and grinding products of deep processing are escalating. As a result, users' requirements for particle size and particle shape, which are crucial indicators for the quality of abrasives and grinding products, have grown higher and higher.

The latest Bettersizer S3 plus image particle size and particle shape analyzer was exhibited. The system is equipped with a built-in laser scattering system, a microscope image system and a specialized particle size analysis software. It can measure particle size distribution and particle size parameters of abrasive particles such as sphericity, roughness, convexity, and aspect ratio. Bettersizer S3 is a multifunctional machine that is easy to operate. Many visitors showed a keen interest in it.

In response to different needs of our users, BeVision D2 dynamic image particle size and particle shape analyzer (dry dispersion, suitable for coarse abrasives), and BeVision W1 dynamic particle shape and particle size analyzer (wet dispersion, suitable for abrasive micro powders) were also exhibited. These two dynamic particle shape and size analyzers consist of high-resolution microscope image systems, high-speed cameras as well as high-speed image recognition software, which can identify 50,000-100,000 particles per minute. The instruments mentioned above can help a lot in abrasive manufacturing, research and application.
